This beautiful grey sheep (15cm H x 23cm L) sculpture has been handmade in Rogart in the Highlands of Scotland by artist Mairi Hedges. Each has been made entirely from foraged materials on Mairi’s own croft and comes with its own handwritten story included below…
“Tex is a special sheep. He was a small pet lamb, but now weighs in at over 100kg. He was black as a youngster, but has become the most beautiful grey with age. He is half cheviot, quarter texel, and a quarter zwartbles. This Tex is made from his wool and homegrown willow. That is all 100% homegrown and made.”
