The Brae Vest
The Brae Vest is inspired by the gentle rise and fall of the Scottish landscape. Quietly confident and endlessly versatile, it is designed to be worn through the seasons, layered over a shirt, dress or fine knit, becoming more familiar with every wear.

Hand-framed and fashioned in 100% Pure Shetland Sheep's Wool from the sheep living on Bonnytoun Farm.

Handmade on the farm in Linlithgow, Scotland

A simple working layer, made from the wool of our Shetland flock at Bonnytoun Farm. Real wool. Real purpose. Part of the Future Vintage way of dressing for weather, work and life, Lindsay’s Shepherd’s Wardrobe.

Colour: Grey I Natural white I Oak I Shetland Black

Size: ONE SIZE Length 54cms Width 58cms (white) The width varies with the yarn. The black measures 62.5 cms in the width.

Designed for layering over shirts, jumpers, dresses or whatever else you have already thrown on. It gives warmth without weight, structure without stiffness, and just enough polish to make it feel considered. Slits at the side, straight blocked neck. Chunky in look but light weight in the wearing!

Care | Washing - Don’t do it unless you really need to!
If you feel the need, then hand-wash in a basin of hand-warm water with gentle detergent. Soak for 15 minutes, gently agitate to clean.
Rinse in warm water and repeat until the water runs clear. Dry flat on a towel, maintaining its shape.
