A Summer’s Evening of Leather, Wool & Slow Making

£195.00

Thursday 14th August | 6–9pm
Bonnytoun Farm, Linlithgow
£195 — includes all materials, food, and drinks

Join us for a hands-on creative workshop inside the 200-year-old stone cottage atelier of Future Vintage. Set on Bonnytoun Farm in Linlithgow, this small group event (limited to 6 guests) offers the chance to connect with natural materials, learn about our Shetland flock, and make your own sculptural soft furnishing to take home.

You’ll begin with a short visit to the Bonnytoun flock of pedigree Shetland sheep, then head into the Woolery to make your own Armadillo Pillow — part of the Cocoon Puzzle collection, first exhibited at Milan Design Week 2025.

This zero-waste design is made using vegetable-dyed Spanish leather offcuts from artisan Melina Carranza, and stuffed with pure Shetland wool from our own flock. You’ll be guided through the process of linking the leather into soft, sculptural forms and filling it with wool — no previous experience required.

Seasonal food and drinks will be served throughout the evening, including organic focaccia and farm-grown nibbles prepared by Ben Cadell, who runs Bonnytoun Farm alongside Future Vintage founder Lindsay Girvan.

What’s included:
– Guided visit to the flock
– All materials to make your own Armadillo Pillow
– Seasonal drinks and organic food
– Small group setting (maximum 6 participants)
– 3-hour workshop hosted by Lindsay Girvan

Please note:
Tickets are non-refundable but can be transferred if you are unable to attend. All tools and materials will be provided. Please wear comfortable clothing.
